Area Manager/Service Manager

You will be working as a team and supporting colleagues whilst also developing your own teams and relationships.

To be successful within this role, the candidate requires a great attitude. Ability to communicate on the phone and face-to-face basis. You should be positive, enthusiastic, conscientious, self-motivated and hard working as you would be the voice of the company. You must possess a full and clear driving licence.

  • Organise and supervise cleaning operatives
  •  Complete time sheets
  • Carry out specialist cleaning operations 
  • Monitor the use of materials and order stocks as necessary
  • Deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to Operations Manager where appropriate
  • Ensure that cleaning is delivered to the expected and agreed standards
  • Provide technical training as and when required for all cleaning staff and liaise with Operations Manager for additional training requirements
  • Monitor and review cleaning staff performance
  • Advise Operations Manager of any potential disciplinary issues as and when issues
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and encourage safe working practices at all times
  • Ensure that all cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with the specification arise
  • Ensure the effective use of equipment and materials
  • Report all machinery faults
  • Ensure that cleaning operatives are working the correct hours
